Imagine what it might feel... like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The Circle of Security Parenting program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. Using the COSP model developed by the Circle of Security originators,trained Facilitators like myself work with parents and care-givers to help them to: Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions Enhance the development of their child's self esteem Honor the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure If this is something you have been looking for or you would like like further details please feel free to pm me. 18.01.2022 Last Wednesday our children, families and educators came together for morning tea to celebrate Harmony Day; a celebration of our country's cultural diversity. The children have been having discussions about the many different cultures we share and exploring their own cultures. We have pondered over what Harmony Day means to us and we invited our families into share in this celebration. There was cultural games, music and dancing and lots of fun was had by all #HarmonyDay2021 #celebratediversity



15.01.2022 'Putting children first’ was front of mind when the National Child Protection Week campaign was launched in 1990, with the aim of bringing abuse and neglect out of the shadows and putting child well-being on the national agenda. Since then, the need to put children first has been recognised time and time again as an important pillar for boosting the well-being of all children in Australia. Under this year’s theme of ‘Putting children first’ we invite all Australians to look a...t how they can prioritise children in their lives and communities and to engage in National Child Protection Week as individuals, and as part of families, organisations, communities and society. Putting children first means prioritising the safety and well-being of children. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and access to essential things like food, shelter and healthcare. For children to thrive we need to come together as a community and put children’s needs first during National Child Protection Week and every week. Goodstart Sanders St has a strong commitment to the safety of their children.One of Goodstart Early Learning’s guiding principles is Children are central to everything we do and we acknowledge this today through our Zero Tolerance to child harm. 07.01.2022 Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! If there is one group of people who deserves to have their own day, it’s definitely early childhood educators! We have already seen so many gorgeous flowers, plants, drawings and gifts flooding our centres this morning. A heartfelt thank you to all of our incredible educators who are making memories and changing lives every second of every day.
