25.01.2022 We currently have some availabilty in two of our rooms, as of the beginning of February. Kinder Learning Space (funded 4 year old) has 4 places available on Mondays and 1 place available on a Wednesday. Learning Space Three (places suitable for a child 3 years old+) has 7 places available on Mondays, 4 places on Wednesdays and 4 places on Fridays. If you or anyone you know would like to take advantage of any of these days as permanent bookings, please get in contact with us either via here or on 53 826 533. These places will not last long, and we are unable to take bookings for any other days!

23.01.2022 EDIT - Uniting Wimmera have kindly donated some meeting rooms for donations to be stored. You can drop donations directly there, as well as at our centre. So we have had an overwhelming response just this morning to our donations for fire victims, which is amazingly fantastic! As such, we are wanting to ask if anyone can assist with the following; * Are there any businesses around Horsham who have a spare shed we can use for storage of these items that would be willing to d...onate said storage space? We have ALOT of donations. * Is there anyone with a Ute/truck who is heading to Bendigo over the next week or so that would be willing to drop off what do stions we have already, so that we can free up storage space for more donations? Over the years we have had many children who have attended our centre require the specialist help from this fantastic hospital, and obviously children are very close to our hearts, so we wanted to put it to all of you to help raise funds for this very worthy cause. 16.01.2022 Hi all Ive been in contact with the company who is receiving and sorting donations for the fire victims. After this week, they will no longer be taking donations, as there is and will be so much to sort through. As such, we, and Uniting Wimmera will cease accepting donations as of close of business tomorrow (Monday). Also, if anyone is heading to Bendigo over this week and could take a Ute/trailer load to the collection point, please get in contact here, or phone 53826533. 15.01.2022 Some good news from the Victorian and Federal Governments today. We are now able to waive gap fees if your child is absent from the centre for COVID-related reasons (in Stage 3 lockdown areas only). Essentially this means that we can secure your spot while lockdown restrictions are in place without having any out-of-pocket costs if your child is kept at home. This will then alleviate some financial pressure and provide reassurance that you still have a daycare booking to come... back to when following the Governments directive of If you can stay at home and work from home, you must do so. The Minister for Education, Dan Tehan, also announced that the Government will provide an additional 30 absence days per child, in addition to the original 42 allowable absences already provided. As you know the Government announced today that the free childcare package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return f...rom 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart.
