25.01.2022 Hi Families! We are overwhelmed with all the donations we have received for our raffle for Keren! We are completely amazed by everyone’s kindness during this time. We just wanted to reach out to families and local businesses and let you know there is still time to donate to our raffle. If you have any donations, please drop them to the centre office by Friday! I want to say again how grateful we are! We will be commencing the raffle next week and all prizes will be displayed ...in the foyer!

Arlia decided it was time to come early at 34+2 weeks. Amy is doing very well and can't wait to take the beautiful baby Arlia home in the coming weeks.

I can't believe we have raised so much already and we want to continue with our goal of raising more money to fight cancer! 06.01.2022 As we begin celebrating National NAIDOC Week 2020 here at Goodstart Jerrabomberra we thought it was fitting to give a giant shoutout to the amazing Rachelle Towart. Rachelle has been named as the 2020 ACT Indigenous Businesswoman of the year at a ceremony organised by Canberra Women in Business (CWB). Congratulations Rachelle, what an amazing achievement and we are so lucky to have you as a family member of our amazing community here at Goodstart Jerrabomberra.

05.01.2022 Hi Families! Goodstart Jerrabomberra will be holding a fundraising raffle in December to help raise money to support Keren while she undergoes cancer treatment. We are seeking donations from local community businesses for our fundraising raffle. As many of you know, one of our long-term and well-loved Goodstart educators, Keren, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. We are aiming to raise money to assist Keren through this difficult period. It is our hope that these funds ...will help ease the financial burden whilst Keren is unable to work, and allow her to treat herself to something nice during this time. Keren has always cared for and looked after our children, and now we feel it is our time to look after her. We would greatly appreciate any donations (big or small) of products, services or vouchers that we can add to our raffle. All funds raised will go directly to Keren to assist with her treatment and care. Keren has been instrumental in shaping the lives of so many local Jerrabomberra children. Goodstart Jerrabomberra want to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful families and to the local community for all the support you have given the centre with our fundraising efforts for our beloved educator, Keren. We are ever so thankful to everyone who donated to our raffle and for purchasing tickets. We raised nearly $3,000 to gift to Keren so she can have an amazing Christmas after the challenging ye...ar she has had. Keren is incredibly overwhelmed with the support she has received from everyone at Goodstart Jerrabomberra. Again, from everyone here at Goodstart Jerrabomberra, we have the greatest appreciation for all of you and we hope you enjoy the upcoming festive period and have a lovely new years!
