23.01.2022 National Simultaneous Storytime On Tuesday of this week the children tuned in to a virtual Storytime. National Simultaneous Storytime is an annual event and every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. ... To participate in this day we were asked to tune into the virtual Storytime at exactly 11am. The story was Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas. The aim of this storytime is to: - promote the value of reading and literacy - promote the value and fun of books - promote an Australian writer and publisher This was a fun and different way for the children to view a story. In the afternoon, a discussion about the story brought much excitement, with many children excited to ask their older siblings whether they also watched the same story too!

22.01.2022 We are continuing to ensure the health and safety of our children, families and educators during this difficult time. We have set up our Health and Wellbeing Station in our entrance, located just inside the gate to enter before entering in through our front door. Please be sure to sanitise your hands before entering our centre and once again as you leave. Masks have been provided for your use if you to choose to wear them during drop off and pick up times. Hand sanitisers... are also located at our sign in and out kiosks for use. We have two kiosks available for your use to sign your children in and out, one located on our office bench and a second located in the corner next to our fish tank. As per all health directives, it is important that if you or your child is feeling unwell or showing any flu like symptoms, please stay home and please provide us with a clearance before returning. As previously advised, we ask that only one parent or caregiver is allowed in the centre at any given time. We also ask that siblings please remain in our office area. Thank you for your understanding and working together with us over this time.

We will provide an update to our centres and our families later today and over the coming days as we learn more. #5weekstogo! See more
