Birdie and the Virus is part of the Birdies Tree storybook series developed by Childrens Health Queensland through the Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. Birdie and the Virus has been specifically designed to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of babies and young children, their parents and families, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The clip, thats now been seen across popular sites Tik Tok, Facebook and Instagram, shows a man taking his own life.... The video is being actively suggested and shown online without warning. Social media companies are struggling to remove the content. 04.01.2022 All educators are First Aid Trained Being confident to give prompt and appropriate first aid following a medical emergency is an extremely important skill and particularly vital for all educators caring for children. Our team of passionate educators have just completed our Senior First Aid course over the past 2 nights. ... Did you know: it is a legal requirement for educators to complete a refresher on first aid which should take place every three years. CPR refresher training should be updated every 12 months.

01.01.2022 Changes to CCS - easing of the activity test. The Government will ease the activity test requirements from 13 July until 4 October to support eligible families whose employment has been impacted as a result of COVID-19. The new rules will enable individuals who can no longer engage in the same number of hours of work, training, study or other activity that they did prior to the COVID-19 crisis to access 100 hours of subsidised care per fortnight for up to 13 weeks. This meas...ure will support a familys ability to access subsidised care if their activity circumstances have fallen but will require: Income estimation from families to qualify, plus it will be capped at 85 per cent. From 13 July 2020, families will be able to advise Services Australia they meet these requirements to access the 100 hours. This can be done through their Centrelink online account through myGov or the Express Plus Centrelink mobile APP.
