24.01.2022 We think its safe to say that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. For the world, for Australia and for our Goodstart team. Over the past few months people, ...families and communities have been tried and tested in the most extraordinary ways. As frontline essential workers our Goodstarters rose to this challenge, stepping up to support our 60,000 families and 71,000 children through some incredibly challenging times. So weve declared this week Thank You Week! A week to celebrate and recognise our 10,000+ Goodstarters for continuing to go above and beyond in face of adversity. We have a few special surprises planned for our Goodstarters this week, but in the meantime wed love for our Goodstart families to get involved too! Be mindful that there are some road closures in tha area and alot of road works on Brays Road and lots of parents rushing to drop their little people off at the schools making for some very dangerous conditions

21.01.2022 Over the next three nights, the Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn will be forming an awesome celestial trio in the sky! Jupiter and Saturn are pretty bright in the sky,... and adding in the Moon will make a great show. Visible from about 6pm on the nights of Saturday 1 August, Sunday 2 August, and Monday 3 August, they will be visible nearly all night. On Saturday, the Moon will be leading the trio across the sky, appearing on top of Jupiter, which is on top of Saturn in the early evening. Sunday night, the 2nd of August, the Moon will be in between Jupiter and Saturn. Finally, on Monday night, the Moon will follow Jupiter and Saturn across the sky.

Don't forget to wash hands, use hand sanitiser, cover your cough and sneezes, stay home if sick and showing cold and flu like symptoms and if necessary please get tested.

13.01.2022 Play is at the centre of our curriculum planning decisions at Undurba. Through play our kindergarten children develop their speech, language and communication skills. Play also helps our kindergarten children make sense of the world around them. It also allows them to use their imaginations and creativity.

09.01.2022 As a parent of three school aged children I learnt asking the question "What did you do at school today?" didnt give me the answers or insight I was looking for. One day I tried a different approach be asking them tell me about one great thing that happened at school By rewording my question this opened up whole new conversations with my children about what they learnt and experienced at school. Thankfully, at Undurba we have the benefit of using Storypark to help facilitate these conversations as our daily reflections can be used as a visual prompt to share your childrens day at kindy. We are looking forwad to starting back at kindy on the 28th January and sharing many wonderful stories and adventures with you all.

08.01.2022 This week our group B kindergarten children have bought the song Incy Wincy Spider to life by making their own amazing rainbow water pipe and little creepy crawlies. We also created our spider web small world for the children to explore and investigate.
