You could use faces, colours, combine numbers, letters. Your imagination is your limit.. have fun creating a tool to assist in the further development of cognitive, fine motor skills and much more.

22.01.2022 The children and staff embraced Diwali this week as we celebrated the Hindu festival of lights on Monday the 16th. Educators along with families dressed for the occasion and shared Sari's with the other children. The children learnt more about the Hindu culture and participated in many experiences and activities that held their engagement. Mandela craft was a highlight for many and creating lantern lights. We look forward to our ongoing cultural journey.

20.01.2022 Who said Sand wasn't fun?? Not us that's for sure as the children engage in play with sand in various learning experiences from Toddlers through to Kindergarten. Our imaginations are our limitations.

16.01.2022 Reading books with educators, looking at pictures, learning to write your name and engaging with your peers are all ways children further develop their language and literacy skills. It encourages them to try new sounds and words and extend on their vocabulary. Sharing this time with peers and Educators gives them a sense of belonging.

12.01.2022 Labrador State School crossing supervisor Ange is still in hospital and likely will be for a few more weeks. On behalf of our Labrador community, I sent flower...s and a note so she knows were all thinking of her. She messaged me this photo from GCUH to say thank you and wanted to let everyone know she cant wait to get back! Ange is a mum of 4 kids, 2 of them at Labrador. Her hubby has taken time off work to help at home. She cant wait to get back to her family and dog but it will be months before she can walk properly again. They are really appreciative of the support everyone has given from home cooked meals to people just sending messages of love and concern. So from me - a big thank you to everyone who has helped Ange and her family! Im thankful for the community we have in Labrador and could not be prouder to be your local MP

08.01.2022 Peanut and Pixie, our resident Guinea Pigs, had a special enclosure built for them by our Kindergarten children this morning. The children were encouraged to show care, empathy and a sense of responsibility, as they were promoted to look after and watch that the guinea pigs remained safe and had food and water.

Miss Amelia offers a program that supports the children in their own areas of interest as she extends upon areas of development and supporting our wonderful families at home. Miss Amelia supports the children's emotional and social wellbeing through role modelling and positive verbal encouragement that helps build strong friendships and by supporting the children emotionally as they make the transition into the next room with ease.
