25.01.2022 Being outdoors gives children the opportunity to pretend to be anything they want. At Goodstart Lynbrook we always make sure that our children have access to indoor and outdoor environment becasue they learn about the natural elements and their surroundings when they are outside. For example, they learn about the weather, the change in seasons and also challenge themselves.

24.01.2022 Today is a very different day at Goodstart early learning Lynbrook, it brings deep sadness to us to walk the hallways and not hear childrens voices. 21.01.2022 Today is National Aboriginal & Torres Islander Childrens Day . It is a time for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities to celebrate the strengths and culture of our children. To be part of this day and extend our childrens learning, we all educators decided to dress up in our special goodstart T-shirt to see the childrens reactions and to start the conversations and thats what exactly happened. Children had lots of questions why we have different tops on etc. And also they did participated in various other activities.

20.01.2022 Due to changes in regulations regarding COVID-19 in Early Childhood we can no longer do centre tours. 20.01.2022 Look at the differences between a typical preschool child’s hand (left) and a typical 7 year old hand (right). Want to know why a preschool aged child isn’t a...ble to write yet? This is why! Their hands are still developing and are not fully formed. So what should they be doing to support this? PLAY!! Playdough, colouring, cutting, gluing, playing outside, digging in dirt, sensory play, dress up play, science experiments, beading, puzzles, throwing balls, etc. All of these things help their hands develop. 15.01.2022 Dear Families, As you will be aware the Victorian Premier has announced that from Sunday night Melbourne will move to Stage 4 restrictions with stronger rules to limit the movement of people and limit the spread of this virus across the city New restrictions for schools and early learning centres will apply from Wednesday11:59pm. At this stage all our centres will remain open for the children of essential and emergency workers as well as for vulnerable children. W...e are currently working through the detail of this with the Government to determine these definitions. As soon as we have more information we will provide an update via email and Storypark. 03.01.2022 Our children have adjusted so well to our extra safety measures that we have put in place due to the current COVID-19 situation. Today when lovedeep entered the classroom,Scarlett approached her to check the temp. by using the toy hammer.This clearly shows us that children also understand that temp. Check is a requirement to enter our premises. Well done to all children and educators for adopting all the required changes that have been put in place to keep everyone safe.

01.01.2022 Our children loves our centres bird Sunny in the kinder room.Sunny loves music and has learned few new words thats why Bilmy decided to sing another song about birds. Music has range of benefits but in this pandemic having music session or music time in the room is helping our children and educators to lift moods and lower their stress level.
