21.01.2022 What's On This Week ? Its Naidoc Week this week from the 8th to the 15th November with the theme: Always Was, Always Will Be . 18.01.2022 Today Kindy had a very special treat, Scarlett’s Nana and Great Grandmother came in to read stories to the class. Bernie, Scarlett’s great grandmother read her very own written poems to the classroom that she wrote when she was 16. The Kindy children thoroughly enjoyed this story time session!

14.01.2022 Milly’s mum gave us some cuttings from her garden. We talked about the colour & the shape of the leaves & what would they need to grow. We carefully planted our cuttings in the pot. After lunch we watered them with our left over water from our cups so not to waste it. Through this experience the group talked about caring for plants and what they need to stay alive. They also showed an interest in the colour of the leaves and what they looked like.

10.01.2022 We love our transition time for morning tea! Enjoying a song with our educators this morning

10.01.2022 Days are filled with learning experiences in Pre-Kindy * Our morning mat time we welcomed everyone & sang our good morning song. We talked about our activities & how we were going to make our own lunch & use good hygiene practices. * Maths table sorting the coloured bears & exploring time using the clock. ... * We explored cars, made ramps using objects in the environment. * We all washed our hands, put on our hair nets we then explored & talked about the different ingredients to make our burgers. * We helped grate the zucchini & carrots then added some herbs, these were from Clare’s garden. We had two eggs which we added to bind the mixture together. Once all mixed we rolled it into balls and flattened them to look like a burger shape. * We then went outside to play and enjoyed the different experiences set up.
