My name is Dhanya and I am a diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator with a little over 4 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care. Personal Statement:... My interest in Early Childhood Education started, when I as a parent, began volunteering at my son’s kindergarten. I found myself enjoying being around children and listening to them talk about their world & what they were learning. I became intrigued at how quick children are able to grasp new ideas. My experience working with children has only continued to inspire me and I aspire to further my career in this field with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. My Philosophy: I believe as an Early Childhood Educator that, every child has the right to learn in a way that suits their needs and lets them be independent. I strongly believe that play is a very important aspect of children’s everyday life. I therefore, ensure that I create stimulating play environment, where children are happy to come every day and feel safe, comfortable and free to express themselves. My learning space will be inclusive, dynamic and built in collaboration with the families and communities I work with.
