These activities are easy to do and a great way to support the development and understanding of dental hygiene and teeth brushing techniques. This years Dental Hygiene Week theme is all about sugar and How much sugar is hiding is your trolley? Wed like to encourage families to be mindful... of hidden sugars in food. Making healthy choices at the supermarket extends to making similar smart food and drink choices at home. Early childhood tooth decay can affect your childs health and cause pain, making it hard for your child to sleep, eat or speak. It can also affect your childs ability to concentrate and learn. Children who develop dental decay at an early age are more likely to suffer from it throughout childhood. We just wanted to reassure you that our centre is open and we will continue to provide an essential service to our children and families. Goodstart is well prepared and has been planning around COVID-19 since early January.... Our teams are highly trained in dealing with infectious diseases and we have Public Health approved infection control processes. We use hospital-grade cleaning products and have rigorous hygiene practices and protocols in place. It is important to remember that maintaining your childs daily routines and positive relationships can be beneficial during uncertain and stressful times such as these.
