22.01.2022 IT'S A LONG WEEKEND! Monday 8th March 2021 is the Labour Day Long Weekend, public holiday so this Centre will be closed. We are open for business as usual on Tuesday 9th March. Enjoy everyone, spend some well-earned time with your family and friends.

22.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all our families celebrating Christmas.Happy holidays!!!

19.01.2022 Parents - if you send food into the Centre for your child, we need it to be clearly labelled with your child's name and the date you are bringing the food in ie: if you brought food in today, it should have your child's name + 11/02/2021. Also we need the list of ingredients of each meal you send in - it shouldn't be too hard if your child eats the same food. Please give the information to Ashlie, our Cook - you only need to give the ingredients list to her once if it is a r...egular meal. Please email Liana [email protected] and state your child's name and that you bring food in for child to eat whilst at the Centre. This is so we can have a list in the kitchen to help Ashlie keep track of what is coming into the Centre and when. Food that is not correctly labelled will not be accepted and your child will be served what is on the menu for the day. If there is any food left over please let us know and you can take it home or we will throw it out at the end of the day. This applies to freshly cooked food that needs to be refrigerated and 'dry' food that often comes in the child's bag. We need your co-operation please to manage this successfully. Please be mindful that we are a nut-free, egg-free centre and always speak to the Educator in the room, Ashlie, Liana or Hardeep if you want to bring in food.

18.01.2022 A culturally inclusive environment is one where children and educators alike recognize, appreciate and capitalize on diversity. At Melton High-Street we all SMILE in the same language!!

17.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone, on Wednesday 31st March we are holding an 'Easter Hat Parade' at the Centre. Our nursery and toddler children will be strutting their stuff at about 11am and our prekinder and kinder children will show off their finery at about 12.30pm. Attendance is limited to 1 adult - apologies, but we are still restricted under COVID regulations. RSVP is a must - please let us know if you or maybe grandma or grandpa will be attending by Monday 29th March. The children will be making their hats in the centre and you can join in the fun by making one at home and parading your own creation in the Centre too!

16.01.2022 It's nearly AFL Grand Final Time! Get ready for Footy Day - this year we are celebrating all things AFL over two days, Wed & Thurs 21st & 22nd October. Get your footy gear on, beanies, scarves, jumpers. There will be lots of activities to do and a long weekend and a Grand Final to look forward to - Up There Cazaly!

15.01.2022 Tuesday 26th January 2021 is Australia Day! As it is a Public Holiday our centre will be closed. We hope you enjoy your day off and celebrate what is great about living in this country - maybe how fortunate we have been, living through a crazy 2020 in the best place in the world! Happy Australia Day.

14.01.2022 Christmas is coming and while we have an exciting week ahead of activities and baking planned, we also need to remind our families that we will be closed on the following dates: Friday 25th December 2020 Monday 28th December 2020 Friday 1st January 2021... We wish you a very Merry Christmas, a wonderful day spent with family and friends and the greatest most spectacular New Year ever! I think we all need it after what we've been through.......

10.01.2022 Don’t forget to wear orange tomorrow! Orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.

09.01.2022 Attention Parents: we are changing our Door Code number at the Centre. The tech will either be at our Centre today or tomorrow, so if the old door code doesn't work please ring the doorbell and pick up the new number once you're in the Centre. Apologies for any inconvenience, but we need to do this to maintain security. Thank you.

07.01.2022 Happy Chinese New Year 2021!!

07.01.2022 ATTENDANCE/CARE FORM: Over the last 3 weeks, a form has been handed out to some of our families: 2021 Care Requirements & Holidays. If you do not have one of these forms or you have lost this form, please call past the front desk and get one as soon as possible. If you have completed this form and not returned it, please return it as soon as you can.... This form is about your intention of care for your child next year do you want the same booking, do you want to change, are you ending your booking, is your child going to kinder at our Centre or through the Council next year, are you going on holidays etc etc. All of this information helps us plan for your child going forward into the New Year. We need to do this for you, your child and our staff especially our staff who have worked all the way through this very difficult year. They are wanting time off to spend with their families and so we have to plan our rosters way in advance to give them this much-deserved time away from the Centre. WEEK 9TH NOVEMBER: Also next week is a busy one (again) at our Centre: Monday & Tuesday we are celebrating NAIDOC, Wednesday is REMEMBRANCE DAY and Thursday and Friday is Diwali. All rooms will be involved in this week full of learning and activities. WAIVED ABSENCE FEES: We wish to advise that as of Monday 9th November, you will be paying for your absent days. As Victoria is moving out of lockdown and moving away from the relief packages introduced by the Federal Government to help us over this time period, your childcare fees will be paid as normal ie: gap fee, absent days and 25% discount holiday rate (if 2 weeks notice is given). If you need to change your bookings, please call us.

07.01.2022 Our Centre will be closed this Friday(23.10.2020) for the Grand final public holiday.Enjoy your long weekend, we’ll see you back on Monday!

06.01.2022 Another fun and busy week at High Street! Let's celebrate our Children - all their talents and skills, all they achieve each day and all the wonderful dreams we have for their future. It's a week-long celebration with lots of activities in all the rooms. Then......Happy Halloween!! Dress up in your spookiest costume, get the crazy hair happening, the weird and wonderful face paint - let's make slime and eat worms (pasta of course!). Celebrate all that is spooky and kooky on Friday 30th October.
