This helped Increases a Children's Imagination When children hear the words to The Wheels On The Bus, they get mental images of a bus going down a road, the people on the bus, and the wheels. These nursey rhyme lyrics permits a child’s imagination to take them on a bus trip full of passengers The children imagine the windshield wipers going back and forth, the doors opening and closing, and more.

Resolving issues develops an awareness of feelings. Physical Development You may not think small world play benefits a child’s physical development, but it does! Small world play has tangible, physical benefits too. Playing with a small character, vehicle or environment helps to develop children’s motor skil...ls and coordination, not to mention their spatial awareness. Intellectual Development Finally, small world play is a great learning resource. Not only can it teachs children about rules and life within their own community, it can also broaden their knowledge to distant places, cultures and societies.

The ability to identify colors is considered a marker and milestone in a child’s cognitive process and is often part of early screening for development and educational admittance. Recognizing the colors and identifying the color names is an important part of a child’s development. Early identification of colors helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words.

Sensory play helps children to develop and improve their gross and fine motor skills, co-ordination and concentration. It also helps them to learn how to work co-operatively, use their senses to discover their environment, develop their imagination, creative thinking, and ability to problem solve and experiment with solutions.
