17.01.2022 Goodstart Supports The Great Australian Storybook Collection We’re so excited to share our passion for early literacy with Australia’s families, through a partnership with News Corp Australia, by launching a beautiful collection of current, best-selling children’s storybooks across the nation! The collection will be available on Saturday 8 February across Newsagents and IGA stores right around Australia (excluding WA) and available online to all subscribers of News Corp New...spapers. Featuring a range of well-known authors including Aaron Blabey, Nick Bland, Dave Hughes and Kerry Argent, there are stories to appeal to all young children. This collaboration represents a wonderful opportunity for you to celebrate and continue to raise awareness about early literacy with your families. We will be kicking off a pre-promotion period next Tuesday and you will soon receive a promotions pack including posters and a floor decal (see pic below!) to start to create awareness and excitement about The Great Australian Storybook Collection. Your Community Marketing Specialists will be in touch with more information about how your centre can further participate in the campaign and what you might like to do with the promotions materials that you’re sent. The first book Thelma the Unicorn is available for free on Saturday 8 February, along with a free Collector Case when you buy a participating News Corp Australia newspaper. Collect the remaining 14 books for $2.70 each day, with newspaper purchases from Sunday 9 February to Saturday 22 February. All of your favourite newspapers will be participating including The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Courier-Mail, The Advertiser and The Mercury to name a few.

12.01.2022 Good morning Families, the wonderful volunteers at Port Stephens Koalas where our beloved adopted class Koala Joanie lives, will be receiving some of the injured Koalas found in the recent fires. If you have spare pillow cases or towels or even feel like purchasing new ones to donate to help the efforts in saving these beautiful animals the organisation is in desperate need. Please drop off in the basket we will have in the entrance of the centre from this afternoon and I will get it to this amazing non government funded community organisation. - Kathryn Kindy Room Leader.
