25.01.2022 Were back!! Whilst our facebook page had a bit of a break, its 2020 and were excited to be sharing our journey with you all ! This year we will be displaying different areas of our centre, and our team here at Berry street as well as events and general Goodstart initiative! 19.01.2022 Did you know that it can take up to 20 years for one single plastic bag to break down and decompose? Did you know that at Berry Street we use on average 250 plastic nappy bags to send home dirty, wet clothing each week. Did that shock you as much as me when we calculated this amount?? We are beyond excited to announce that we are changing our centres plastic bag practice. We are constantly trying to find ways to continually improve our centre and currently one of our focu...ses is our centres environmental impact. We know that families are constantly being sent home with plastic bags full of wet and dirty clothes, and we have always been conscious about the amount of waste this is creating. We have developed a more sustainable solution to this issue. Our centre will be introducing Wet Bags to our centre for the sending home of all dirty and wet clothing. By the 6th of April we will begin rolling out and using the environmentally friendly reusable Wet Bags. Each family will be provided with two wet bags this way each family has a sufficient supply to enable the ability to wash where needed. We ask that families store the wet bags in their childrens school bags. For any instance where childrens clothing are changed thought-out the day (for multiple reasons), instead of using the plastic nappy bags they will be put into the wet bags, if used these will be stored in the bathrooms ready for collection at the end of each day. We are currently just waiting for our full order to arrive and then we will begin labelling these and handing these out

13.01.2022 I cant express enough how valuable this video is and effectively he communicates to really understand primary (key educator) relationships and the importance of the first 3 years of your babies development . We have been practising this for many years now and have also invested in a University trained Early Childhood Teacher MICHELLE .. to support the nursery teams.. I dont know any other services apart from Goodstart with Teachers in nurseries.

Todays session was about tennis ball skills which we are all excited to keep practicing! Firstly, if you or your partner have lost their job or had your wages cut, you can go on to your MyGov page and apply for temporary financial hardship.
