18.01.2022 At Goodstart Oakbank we have encouraged the children to bring their favourite books from home to share with their friends to support Book week. Today for Book Week at Goodstart Oakbank the educators and children have dressed up as their favourite characters from their favourite books!

17.01.2022 With the warm weather we have had the last couple of days our Nursery children have really enjoyed participating in water play experiences! These kinds of sensory activities help children learn about the diffident textures and building their confidence in playing with water.

14.01.2022 Yesterday was Footy Colours Day Educators and children could dress in their favourite footy colours. Educators taught the children how to handball and kick a footy.

13.01.2022 Today was PJ day and Movie day! The children were given the option to come in a watch a movie as well play outside and inside. The children really enjoyed singing along to the movies in their PJ relaxing

12.01.2022 Reminder to all families that SA lockdown restrictions will ease this Saturday 21 November at midnight meaning we are back to normal and open on Monday 23 November to support all our families with quality early learning and care!

10.01.2022 These are a couple of the great food experience the Nursery have done over the last couple of weeks. Today they really enjoyed eating their lunch in the warm weather.

10.01.2022 Here at Goodstart Oakbank we are getting into the Christmas Spirit! Children in the Nursery and over Twos room have helped the educators in putting up their Christmas Tree's ready for Santa!

08.01.2022 The last two days were Bike and camping day. Some children bought in Bikes from home and some used ours to ride around the yard! On camping day the children toasted their marshmallows on our fire (pretend). They relaxed or did activities in the tent!

03.01.2022 It was perfect weather for water day! The children enjoyed playing on a slip 'n' slide and in the paddling pool. Educators watched close by while the children sat and slid in water with big smiles on their faces.

02.01.2022 The last 6 weeks we have had an Indigenous Artist, David from davesaboriginalart, come do workshops with the children. The children learnt about the different tools that were made and used, listened to the different musical instruments, learnt how to make damper and learnt about the artwork that was done by Indigenous people. The children really enjoyed David's workshops and continue to ask when he is coming back! This was a fantastic experience for all children and Educators, we all learnt a lot about Indigenous culture.
