22.01.2022 Today at 11 we are participating in National Simultaneous Storytime. The Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association where schools, daycares, preschools and library’s and many other places come together at the same time to read a book by an Australian Author and Illustrator. This year we are reading Alpacas with Maracas.

22.01.2022 This year Goodstart Early Learning Molong Rd and Kite St will be marching in the local Anzac Day Ceremony on April 25th. We are marching to show our acknowledgment and respect for those who have fought for our country as well as showing a strong connection to the community we live in. We would really appreciate families joining in with the staff of both centres. We will meet on the footpath at Neweys Drycleaners on sale street at 9:45 am and join the parade walking down the main street to Robertson park (prams are welcome) beginning at 10am We do understand that the ceremony can be long for children so once we have arrived at the park you are able to stay as long or as little as suits you and your children. Thank you

17.01.2022 It’s Earn and Learn time again at Woolies. Please collect the stickers and place them in the Goodstart Molong Road box at Woolies or in the foyer at the centre. Every sticker goes towards vouchers to get resources for our outdoor areas.

16.01.2022 Yesterday we also bought awareness to World Down Syndrome Awareness Day by wearing odd socks. Some of the staff members wore socks that we bought from Johns Crazy Socks which is a company founded by a man with Down Syndrome. The Infants 1 and 2 rooms also decorated their own odd socks. On this day people around the world celebrate the lives and achievements of people with Down Syndrome creating a global voice, advocating for the rights, inclusion and well-being of people with Down Syndrome.

15.01.2022 On Monday 29th July we had a visit from Bunnings Orange as part of National Plant a Tree Day. They bought many trees and plants for the children to plant throughout the yards. The children all took part in helping to dig holes, plant the trees and flowers and of course water them. This is a great way to show a growing appreciation and care for natural and constructed environments.

10.01.2022 Today we participated in the ANZAC Day March along with Kite St to remember all those who have bravely fought for our country. Thank you to everyone who joined the march with us. Lest we forget.
