23.01.2022 This week is Child Protection Week which focuses child protection being everyone’s business and that as adults, we have a responsibility to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing. We must always LISTEN to children, learn more about unsafe behaviours to watch out for, educate ourselves on the reasons why people harm children and most importantly, act to protect children. #ChildProtectionWeek #PuttingChildrenFirst

20.01.2022 This week we have shown our appreciation to the amazing work of the police. We surprised our parents that are police officers with a beautiful card and chocolates for them to take to work to share.

20.01.2022 To a child, there’s something very gratifying and magical about dipping a paintbrush into water, making huge brush strokes on a wall or rock or slab, and then watching them slowly evaporate in the sun.

This is on the back of the exciting update yesterday that every Goodstarter in our centres will also be receiving a surprise gift pack (worth $200) from our friends over at Good360 Australia as a thank you from them! #thankyouweek #loveourGoodstarters

16.01.2022 Join us this week as we celebrate Naidoc Week 2020. This years theme Always Was, Always Will Be recognises that First Nations people have belonged to and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years! The Shape of Land artwork was created by Noongar and Saibai Islander man Tyrown Waigana. Shape of Land description: The Rainbow Serpent came out of the Dreamtime to create this land. It is represented by the snake and it forms the shape of Australia, which symbolises how it c...reated our lands. The colour from the Rainbow Serpent is reflected on to the figure to display our connection to the Rainbow Serpent, thus our connection to country. The overlapping colours on the outside is the Dreamtime. The figure inside the shape of Australia is a representation of Indigenous Australians showing that this country - since the dawn of time - Always Was, Always Will Be Aboriginal Land. See more

07.01.2022 We think it’s safe to say that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. For the world, for Australia and for our Goodstart team. Over the past few months people, ...families and communities have been tried and tested in the most extraordinary ways. As frontline essential workers our ‘Goodstarters’ rose to this challenge, stepping up to support our 60,000 families and 71,000 children through some incredibly challenging times. So we’ve declared this week Thank You Week! A week to celebrate and recognise our 10,000+ Goodstarters for continuing to go above and beyond in face of adversity. We have a few special surprises planned for our Goodstarters this week, but in the meantime we'd love for our Goodstart families to get involved too! Please share your messages of thanks and support below and tag an educator or a centre who has really made a difference. #ThankYouWeek #InThisTogether
