23.01.2022 Here at Goodstart Point Vernon we believe in supporting local businesses and a strong sense of community. During the COVID pandemic we know how important it is to support the little businesses that can't afford loans to stay afloat. So if you know of a business that deserves recognition bring in information for us to display in centre or provide details to share on Facebook. We love to support our families as much as you support us. Here is our business share of the week. Mis...s Tiffany's parents run a concrete ornament business right here in Hervey Bay. Great for gifts or to beautify your own gardens. Show them some love and like or share their page. Taking orders for Christmas now. Painted, unpainted or oxidised concrete ornaments, pavers, pots, birdbaths, statues and much more. #Buylocal https://www.facebook.com/Creative-Concrete-Ornaments-1141556009248999/ See more

21.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day!
21.01.2022 Friday the 14th of August - Red Nose Day to help raise awareness of Sudden Infants Death Syndrome (SIDS) we had planned a special day by wearing the colour red and set up a variety of fun activities. Out in the main yard we had our party set up for our friends to enjoy. We had the disco in the centre of the yard where the children rolled the dice and danced to the picture that the diced lands on from the poster, we had some scented cloud dough under the covered area, a sens...ory trough filled with red rice and pasta, face paintings, playdough down the back on the grass, red paintings, Red Nose Day colourings, bubbles and dancing around with red streamers. As you can see we all had a fantastic time enjoying one anothers company and all being involved as a centre. The toddlers especially had so much fun exploring the slime and blowing bubbles using the bubble wands. See more

13.01.2022 Thank a Goodstarter today! 2020 has been a big year for the world, for Australia and for our Goodstart team. Over the past few months people, families and communities have been tried and tested in the most extraordinary ways.... As frontline essential workers our Goodstarters rose to this challenge, stepping up to support our 60,000 families and 71,000 children through an incredibly uncertain and challenging time. So here at Goodstart weve declared this week Thank You Week, a week in which we celebrate and recognise our 10,000+ strong team who have gone above and beyond in the face of adversity. We have already had a few surprises today with promises of more to come for our centre teams! Needless to say we are feeling very supported and super excited!
