We're really excited to share with you a new resource we've developed for families to help them guide and support their children's behaviours and emotions. The Goodstart Family Behaviour Support Kit has information and resources to help support your child to understand and manage their emotions and help them learn how to communicate their needs in an appropriate way. It's a physical kit delivered straight to your door and includes a multitude of helpful tools and tips! 09.01.2022 Dear families We’re sharing this poster with every family at our centre today as part of a reminder to ourselves that while we’ve been working to keep everyone safe from COVID-19 for nearly nine months now we can’t afford to let our guard down now. We’re using this poster to take a moment each day to check we’re still doing all the simple things we need to do as part of the local community to keep ourselves and our friends and family safe and well. If your child isn’t feeling well, please keep them home and support us to reduce the spread of illness in our centre. Thanks again for helping keep everyone at Goodstart Pooraka by following this simple guide because COVID-19 is still a thing.

08.01.2022 We just wanted to reassure you that our centre is open and we will continue to provide an essential service to our children and families. Goodstart is well prepared and has been planning around COVID-19 since early January. Our teams are highly trained in dealing with infectious diseases and we have Public Health approved infection control processes. We use hospital-grade cleaning products and have rigorous hygiene practices and protocols in place. It is important to remembe...r that maintaining your child’s daily routines and positive relationships can be beneficial during uncertain and stressful times such as these. Our priorities are ensuring the ongoing safety, health and well-being of everyone in our Goodstart family and continuing to provide the highest standard of early learning and care in our 665 centres across Australia for the families that rely on us each day. 07.01.2022 Reminder to all families that SA lockdown restrictions will ease this Saturday 21 November at midnight meaning we are back to normal and open on Monday 23 November to support all our families with quality early learning and care!

06.01.2022 The bushfire situation across Australia is heartbreaking so we are reaching out to offer special support to our volunteer firefighters. If you are a volunteer firefighter and are actively fighting the current bushfires we would like to support you to access up to 6 weeks of free care for your child/ren at our centres. You don’t have to be a current Goodstart family to qualify for this offer, the offer applies to any eligible* families across our Australian communities. Please reach out to our Family Support Team at [email protected] or speak with your Centre Director directly so we can support you to access this as soon as possible. *Offer must be used by the last day in February. Proof of membership and deployment information will need to be provided. Speak to our team for further information.
