23.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who has kindly donated a gift to our Toy Drive. All your gifts will be making there way over to the GV Childrens Ward tomorrow morning ( Tue 22nd) . We are very pleased with how successful it has been! Thanks again to the community and family donations we had :)

16.01.2022 The children at Archer St have been working very hard on making sure our community garden is thriving, they have been in there watering the thirsty plants and picking out those pesky weeds. Today we ventured into the garden and Miles and Wyatt picked some fresh rosemary and cherry tomatoes. Later in the afternoon we asked some of the Pre-Kinder children if they would like to come in and help us pack the tomatoes and rosemary into the paper bags. They jumped at the chance to g...et involved and did an amazing job at helping each other package the produce, thank you Harper, Douglas and Blake. Having the community garden available for the children to access regularly and being so involved in the process, from planting, watering and the harvesting, is building a strong sense of community, respect for the environment and pride in their accomplishments. Ashton helped us have place our delicious packages out the front in the foyer, please feel free to grab some yummy cherry tomatoes and fresh rosemary, harvested and packaged by the children of Goodstart Archer St. *the children and educators involved in this exercise washed their hands before commencing. *the produce was washed after being picked but please wash again before use. 12.01.2022 We are currently working towards becoming more sustainable within our centre, and we are asking for your help!! We have created a recycling initiative using shredded paper. Feel free to come in and take a bag, and then show us how you are using the shredded paper, whether it is bedding for your animals, compost for your garden or even protection for your veggie garden from snails. The children had so much fun shredding this paper, so please take a bag and return it empty so other families can join in!!
