25.01.2022 Over the past few days the Kindergarten 2 children have been reading a very entertaining story. The story was written by Mem Fox, named, Where is the green sheep? The children loved reading about the escapades of all the different sheep, and then, right at the end, the discovery of the green sheep itself! The children all contributed to our mural display creating their own green sheep, this is displayed on the wall in the Kindergarten 2 room for you to have a look at.

23.01.2022 For book week the toddler children loved dressing up and showing their friends their different costumes. We enjoyed reading lots of different stories together and listening to the wiggles songs to match the wiggles costumes!

23.01.2022 Thank you to all of our wonderful families who have donated so many items for our Food Bank Drive. Thank you to Melissa who has organised the collection of items throughout September. Melissa will be delivering the items out near the airport and then they will be distributed to those families in need.

23.01.2022 This week the Nursery 2 Room celebrated book week with the children by providing the children with a variety of books and story time before meals. The educators dressed up as the wiggles and the baby shark family. These are the children’s interests within the room, the children were very excited to participate in a performance of the wiggles and baby shark!

22.01.2022 Last week the Toddlers really enjoyed spending as much time as they could for our 'Outdoor Classroom Day'. We set the tables up nicely outside and ate lunch under the veranda. The children loved being outside and having lunch together.

19.01.2022 During Space Week the children in Kindergarten 1 made green playdough and created some wonderful aliens. They played an asteroid game focusing on throwing asteroids into a rocket. They also created name rockets which helped them to identify the letters in their name.

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Chloe & Tab who were both nominated for a Goodie Award by two of our wonderful families at Goodstart. It is a lovely recognition of the care and support that these Educators show to the children in the centre on a daily basis. We are very lucky to have you both working at our centre.

12.01.2022 Last week the Kindergarten 2 Children had a very busy week. They enjoyed some sensory play using corn flour and water mixed together. They created some wonderful pictures using water paints. They used their cutting and fine motor skills to make collages out of pictures from magazines and they had fun playing with the toy animals in the water.

10.01.2022 This week the children in the Nursery 1 room have been spending time outdoors. They have been using their large muscle skills and hand/eye coordination to complete the obstacle course. They have been exploring the texture of water and sand and mixing them together. They have really enjoyed making lots of noise, using the spoons to bang on the pots and pans with their peers.

06.01.2022 This week in the toddlers age group we have taken advantage of the beautiful weather and spent most of the week outdoors. We have used the obstacle course to explore body movement and spatial awareness skills. Moving across each part requires concentration and at times persistence.

06.01.2022 In Kindergarten 1 we have been reading the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. The children have enjoyed reading the story during mat sessions. The children have used recycled materials to paint caterpillars, used their fine motor skills to thread leaves, painted butterflies and made caterpillars focusing on colour patterns.

01.01.2022 This week in the Kindergarten 1 room we celebrated 'Water Week'. The children made sensory bottles using water and art materials. They also conducted an experiment focusing on floating and sinking, where they predicted what objects would float and what objects would sink. We also read the story 'Mr Archimedes Bath' where we focused on the principle of dispersion.
