25.01.2022 This is an image weve come across that simply explains the latest advice from the Prime Minister around Australias response to COVID-19. We just wanted to reassure you that our centre is open and we will continue to provide an essential service to our children and families. Goodstart is well prepared and has been planning around COVID-19 since early January.... Our teams are highly trained in dealing with infectious diseases and we have Public Health approved infection control processes. We use hospital-grade cleaning products and have rigorous hygiene practices and protocols in place. It is important to remember that maintaining your childs daily routines and positive relationships can be beneficial during uncertain and stressful times such as these. Our priorities are ensuring the ongoing safety, health and wellbeing of everyone in our Goodstart family and continuing to provide the highest standard of early learning and care in our 665 centres across Australia for the families that rely on us each day.

12.01.2022 Hi Goodstart families! As you know the Government announced today that the 'free childcare' package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return from 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart. We will provide an update to our centres and our families later today and over the coming days as we learn more. #5weekstogo!

10.01.2022 Today the Prime Minister announced a new way of working for the early childhood sector from this Sunday April 5. From Monday all children will be able to attend early learning and care at their current centre for free. This absolutely includes all Goodstart centres. If your child is enrolled in one of our centres and you are still working, studying or searching for work you will be able to send your child for free from Monday.... This is welcome news, especially as the Prime Minister also made it clear that vulnerable children would be a priority alongside the children from families of essential workers (everyone currently required to work). We dont have a lot of detail to share with you yet, but we will as soon as we are able. If you have any enquiries please contact the centre on 8294 2499.
