16.01.2022 Goodstart have made the decision to reduce the fees at our centre. We are mindful of the difficult financial circumstance and uncertainty many families now face. We have made this decision to support ongoing affordability for our local families, to ensure children are able to access the high quality early learning and care which we know is so vital in their early years.

14.01.2022 National science week was so much fun for our children, families and educators. We experimented with a range of different experiences using natural materials, everyday materials and pantry must haves. We have began our online learning zoom sessions and we were able to deliver some of our science experiments via zoom to our families who cannot attend care during these tough times! ... If you have been experimenting at home, please share your photos with us. We would love to see them.

14.01.2022 Dear Families, As you may be aware the Victorian Government announced yesterday that they are re-instating restrictions in some areas across Victoria in light of the evolving COVID-19 situation. There are no new restrictions on early learning and care and we remain open and here to support you as we navigate through the next few weeks together.... Throughout COVID we have had the strictest health and hygiene measures in place and this will continue. Our national health and safety team have been closely monitoring the situation in Victoria and in response to the changing health risks, implemented further health, safety and hygiene restrictions across all our Victorian centres last week. The ongoing health, safety and wellbeing of everyone in our centre remains our first priority and we are committed to providing the best possible learning experiences in the safest possible environment for all children in our care. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact the centre. Remember; We have weathered the storm together already over the past few months and this time is no different.

10.01.2022 National Reconciliation week in the Pre Kinder room. Over the course of the week the Pre Kinder children have been introduced to different experiences to extend their understanding and learning about the importance of Reconciliation. They enjoyed a dream time story called 'Ernie Dances to the Digeridoo' and some different photos of land marks (Uluru) and Aboriginal traditons, they then had discussions about this. This morning we created a beautiful nature corner space for the children to explore in the Pre Kinder room. 07.01.2022 Our centre cook has been busy putting together a new menu and today’s lunch was chicken, bacon and potato casserole! The children loved it and this will definitely be a crowd favourite. If you would like to try some of our recipes at home please let us know and we will be happy to share them with you.

Over the course of the week the Toddler children have been introduced to different learning experiences to help develop their learning and understanding about the importance of Reconciliation.
