25.01.2022 As the world spins into a frenzy, its small gestures like this that matter. As we reflect on the work we do, the difference we make and the impact we have on the children and there families. I share the appreciation from families and extend it to all educators at this time. #staysafe #appreciation #covid19

22.01.2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnaltG5N8nE&feature=youtu.be Dear All, ... I wanted to share this amazing book with you all " A Kids Book About Racism by Jelani Memory. it is a beautiful story about Racism. With many sad things taking place recently in the world and being a person with brown skin I could easily relate and feel the emotions in this book. It is very important to educate children from a very young age to be kind and to treat everyone equally. I would like to Thank Kylie Warren - White - Our national safe work and wellbeing manager for sharing this valuable resourse with us I hope our Friends at home enjoy this story as well.

12.01.2022 Ms Angelina from the kindy room would love to share a simple and fun science experiment you can explore with your children at home. You will need a balloon filled with a toy and water. Put it into the freeze over night to freeze. Take the ice ball out. Pour salt and food colouring using a dropper or a spoon. ... Now watch the Ice melt. This Science experiment is great for fine motor skills, learning about solids/liquids, colour and building children's patients.

11.01.2022 As summer is here an important message to share far and wide is to protect our children from the sun. To protect our skin, we recommend a combination of sun protection measures: 1. Slip on some sun-protective clothing that covers as much skin as possible.... 2. Slop on broad spectrum, water resistant SPF30 (or higher) sunscreen. Put it on 20 minutes before you go outdoors and every two hours afterwards. Sunscreen should never be used to extend the time you spend in the sun. 3. Slap on a hat - broad brim or legionnaire style to protect your face, head, neck and ears. 4. Seek shade. 5. Slide on some sunglasses - make sure they meet Australian Standards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwyqaLnsi5Q

05.01.2022 At Goodstart we understand how important it is for parents / guardians to spend quality time together or just to have a bit of "me time". That's why we are providing an evening for our families where they can drop their child/ren to the centre from 6pm to 9pm, leaving them in a trusted and familiar environment and head off for dinner or some chill time. Goodstart are celebrating 10years of service this year by fundraising for Telethon, so we are asking our families to donate to this great cause when booking in!
