24.01.2022 Not only does role play spark creativity and imagination, it also encourages children to express their ideas and feelings in a relaxed environment. Our preschool friends are learning to make sense of real life situations, being exposed to mathematical concepts of currency and showing interest in recognising text, including letter formation. Our ice cream shop has been an inviting, social space to play.

22.01.2022 Our wonderful Tumbi Staff have been revising their CPR qualifications this morning. CPR training is completed annually so we keep up to date with best practices and strategies to keep our children, staff and families safe Well done Educators for displaying such confidence with your first aid skills in both theory and practical demonstrations.

20.01.2022 This week in the preschool room the children were eager to celebrate Easter. There was lots of creativity as we created our own Easter hats using a wide variety of resources. We practiced our cutting skills and fine motor strength by cutting around Easter bunny shapes and making Easter egg baskets. It was beautiful to see so many confident smiles as the children made their way around the centre for their Easter hat parade, wishing everyone happy Easter along the way. Our Mad Hatter Tea party was a lovely social experience Happy Easter to all our Families xx

12.01.2022 At Goodstart safety is not just what we do, it’s who we are. During these uncertain times we need to work together to keep our centre, families, children and educators COVID-safe. From 4th January, all parents and adult visitors are required to wear a mask while in our centre, as well as sanitising hands on arrival.... We also need to do our bit to minimise the number of adults in our centres at any one time so have asked that only one parent be present for drop-off and pick ups and to keep the visit to less than 15 mins. Thanks for your understanding and ongoing support we’ve got this NSW!

12.01.2022 Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere

08.01.2022 World Kindness Day 2020 As part of our kindness curriculum our Kindy friends have collaborated and brainstormed ideas to design and construct our ‘buddy bench’. This is a special space they can go to if they need a friend to play with. Our Kindy children are mindful and if they see someone sitting on our buddy bench, can kindly offer to play with them. We all suggested ideas to decorate the bench to make it a happy space and feel as comfortable as possible. As always, spread kindness everywhere!!
