23.01.2022 Next Wednesday 2 September is Early Childhood Educators' Day! This year it coincides with the start of spring and we thought what better way to celebrate than ...to say it with flowers! We are calling on our families to help fill our centres with greenery on this important day! It doesn’t matter whether you bring a plant from a shop, something from your garden or even a sneaky snip from the side of the road it will surely put a smile on the faces of our well-deserving teams! Myla goes around with Miss Nicole (who is our staff Health and Safety Officer), looking out for any hazards that we need to be aware of and get repaired. 21.01.2022 Good Afternoon Families, What an eventful and exciting afternoon we've had. This afternoon shortly after 4, we had an emergency evacuation. There was a car on fire outside the centre and an LPG truck parked next to it. We all moved out of the service very promptly and safely to our fire evacuation point and we are so proud of all of the children. Thankfully the firefighters quickly put the fire out and we could safely move back into the centre. ... We were also very lucky to have a Federal Policeman who was on his way home stop and assist us all out of the service. He even gave us a compliment on how well we did and we were all very calm as we got everyone safely out. Thank you to all of the children for being so sensible and safe. We are so proud! Have a lovely weekend!

19.01.2022 The Pre-Kindergarten class has started learning all about the human body, so the children were given a chance to create their own skeletons using cotton tips, cotton balls, and glue. What an amazing way for the children to use their knowledge!

16.01.2022 Check out this amazing learning experience the Snr Toddlers participated in recently! Their focus lately has been animals, so they've been learning all about the different types of animals, what noises they make, where they live, and what they look like. As part of this, the children were given the opportunity to cut up a piece of paper (practicing their fine motor skills and building the small muscle groups), then glue the pattern onto their animal. What an amazing learning experience!

02.01.2022 Based on the parent feedback from the midyear summative assessments, the Senior Toddlers have been exploring brushing their teeth! Each child has their own named toothbrush and toothpaste, and are able to explore brushing their teeth both independently and with educator help. The class also spends time discussing oral health and why it's important to brush their teeth at least twice a day. Well done, Senior Toddlers!

01.01.2022 As a follow on from Reconciliation Week, the Snr Toddler class has begun exploring all the cultures present in their room. This can include singing songs, exploring traditional dress, and cooking. Here's the class exploring cooking dumplings! We have a bunch of little chefs on our hands!
