17.01.2022 Our toddler room has had some new play spaces set up. Vertical tracks are not only a different style of play it also has many benefits such as; shoulder and elbow stability, encouraging midline crossing, spatial awareness, core strength & posture to name a few! An Autumn inspired sensory tray using natural resources and an animal jungle. Sensory play can help support language development, fine & gross motor skills, problem solving skills and social interaction.

16.01.2022 Just a reminder with the new Victorian restrictions that came into place last Thursday that you must wear a fitted face mask when you are in public indoor spaces, this means that you are required to wear a mask when you are in the centre. At this stage you can still drop off and pick up your child in their rooms. Thank you all for helping keep our Centre safe!

03.01.2022 Today we celebrated St Patricks Day with a variety of fun learning experiences to explore diversity and culture within our world. Some of our children that attend our centre are Irish and Australian which opened great opportunities for group discussions around differences, similarities and cultural diversity. The Nursery room celebrated through green themed art, sensory bags filled with gold coins and glitter and Irish green dress ups. The Toddler and Pre kinder room celebrated through rainbow face paint with a pot of gold at the bottom. Pre kinder also did some Irish dancing and Irish inspired art. The kinder room excitedly showed off their 3 leaf clover face paint after making green playdough to explore their senses. What a fun day for all!
