23.01.2022 Remembrance Day Today we created poppies and wreaths in our rooms as a group. Then we came together as a centre to display our creations and pay our respects. On the 11th hour we had a minutes silence while listening to the last post. It was amazing to see the centre come together to remember our fallen soldiers. Lest we Forget

21.01.2022 Loose parts and paint!! What more could we want?! The nursery enjoy some sensory loose part painting this morning! As they sit together at the table they are extending their gross motor skills as well as their communication as they giggle amung themselves!

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated.. Below is a photo of all our prizes, if you would like to buy a ticket please come to the office to purchase one. Tickets are selling for $3 each or $5 for two and all donations are going to DVConnect which supports Men, Women and Children who are in Domestic Violence Situations. ... Thank you again.

Thank you Goodstart! * Dear families Like everyone in Greater Brisbane we are very pleased to hear that the lockdown has ended. This note is to let you know that we’ll be continuing to wear masks at the centre just as we will all have to do when shopping or moving about in the community. As part of our safety precautions we also ask that you continue to wear masks for drop off and pick u...p which will continue to occur in our foyer for the next ten days. Our health and safety experts tell us that there is a risk the UK COVID strain is still in the community and as a result our masks-on policy will remain in place until January 22. 14.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone!!!! We just wanted to update our families with the latest information regarding the lockdown commencing at 6pm tonight. In line with Government requirements, our service will remain OPEN on Monday. Please ensure that if your child/children attend Child Care on Monday that you are wearing a face mask.... If you are not wearing a mask, you can not enter the centre. Your child does not need to be wearing a mask but parents dropping off (1 parent per family), must have one on. We wish everyone a safe weekend during this lock down and we look forward to seeing everyone safe and well next week. There is a post on Storypark for our current families outlining some more of the requirements! Unfortunately if you had planned to visit the centre then we are unable to conduct any visits or centre tours! Please get in contact with us on 54961321 to arrange a time on another day. Take care! 11.01.2022 Open-ended play allows children to learn more than you could ever imagine. Open-ended play helps stretch their cognitive skills. Children learn to react better in situations, they learn to make choices, and they feel more inspired. Not to mention, play is just overall better when children are in charge of it.

09.01.2022 Today the children found a butterfly who sadly had lost its ability to fly! They gathered around to all have a look and gave her a name - Cherry! Then Cherry got onto Miss Mikaela's finger so she could safely relocate it to a tree!

05.01.2022 Science fair! Today we had a mini science fair in the front yard! The children explored many different aspects of science & they couldn’t keep the smiles off their faces!

04.01.2022 The children have been working on improving their hand eye coordination and manipulation skills through many different approaches (Rolling, pulling apart, squishing etc). The Pre-Kindy children have been adding different materials into their playdough which opens avenues to different learning "Look I put the dinosaur on top of mine and it made footprints!!!!" - Pre-Kindy child

03.01.2022 Introducing Seemore! Seemore was given to our centre by the KIDS FOUNDATION and plays a huge role in teaching children on how to be safe in multiple situations. Seemore will live in the office when he is not out with families seeing how they stay safe. Seemore comes with a journal in which your children can write, draw, add pictures etc on how they stay safe at home. We look forward to see your adventures with Seemore! KIDS Foundation
