States and Territories each assess eligible applicants against a criteria unique to their jurisdiction. 16.01.2022 2020-21 Financial Year Update Regional Development Australia (RDA) offices will begin assisting NSW Treasury manage the subclass 491 visa in early February 2021. Each RDA office will accept and assess applications, and determine eligible occupations for their respective regions; however, nomination criteria is consistent across all regions. These criteria are outlined below.... Information about how to apply will be made available on RDA websites as soon as possible. Links to participating region websites can be found below. RDA offices will focus on nominating applicants who are undertaking skilled work in critical sectors. 14.01.2022 Update on GSM nomination allocation for the 2020-21 program year The Northern Territory has now received its allocation of nominations under the General Skilled Migration program for 2020-21. We have commenced issuing nominations to eligible applicants who submitted their applications prior to the program suspension on 1 December. We will update this website with information as to when the program will be reopened for onshore applicants. This is expected to occur early in the... New Year. The program is expected to remain closed for offshore applications while international border restrictions stay in place.
