According to the International Consensus on ‘Optimising Wellbeing in People Living with a Wound’, there is a close association to increased anxiety and poor quality of life for those suffering ...the physical, psychological and social impacts of hard to heal wounds. Ask a family member of anyone who has had problem skin, swelling or wounds, and they will share with you how easy their loved one has lost independence, become depressed, isolated or fearful. 04.01.2022 Did you know that if you have an episode of cellulitis when you have chronic oedema, your oedema (lymphatic vessels) worsens putting you at greater risk of more cellulitis. Cellulitis leads to oedema leads to cellulitis leads to oedema and so on. Its a vicious cycle, but many things can be done to prevent ongoing cellulitis. It was great to listen to the International Lymphoedema Framework webinar on Cellulitis in Lymphoedema tonight. Be like Buzz LightYear.... Mr Oedema, compression is here to fight you.
