25.01.2022 We would like to give a huge thank you and recognise two of our drivers who this morning noticed a vehicle which had had an accident over an embankment. The vehicle could only barely be seen from the height of the truck due to it's location, but the drivers made a conscious decision to pull over quickly and race down to check that there was not somebody still inside the vehicle. Unfortunately there was a person entrapped inside who had been there for over 7 hours. The two dri...vers, along with another motorist who stopped after seeing the two trucks pulled over, then called emergency services and waited with the driver until the ambulance arrived and had the scene secured. Thank you guys, it would've been easy to just assume it was an old wreck and keep driving, but instead in this simple act you both proved again how much care you have for our local community. I felt it was necessary to post this on our page as I have already been contacted by people assuming that because there were two big trucks parked on the side of the road and an ambulance on scene that they must have been involved in the accident. This has then became the "rumour" and this is what is being told by some within the community. Rest assured they were not involved and may I suggest that before making assumptions we should all firstly think about the well-being of everybody involved. Sadly, I think because they were trucks, the worst is automatically assumed. Quite often you may find that it is the truck driver whom is the one selflessly putting themselves into a bad situation for their community. Our guys have a lot of scary near misses (not their fault), are first on scene at a lot of traumatic events, and quite a lot volunteer locally (Rural Fire Brigade, etc). I urge people to please think of the well-being of others (everyone, not just truck drivers) before making assumptions and passing these off as fact. These "rumours", on top of the actual event, can have a lasting effect on everyone involved. We need to look after each other as a community. Thanks

22.01.2022 Two of our employees Charlie Prow and Peter Goody (both Members of the Bouldy Pony Club), gave up a number of days over their Christmas Holiday Break to complete the works at the Bouldercombe Pony Club grounds started earlier in the year. With the use of some of our equipment and an excavator donated by Colin Bell, the grounds now have a much larger area for utilization and a much safer size rill around the exterior for members and visitors alike. Goody's Earthmoving proudly support organisations within the local community, not for the recognition, but because we are a massive believer in supporting local and giving back wherever we can. Having such a large area will make a huge difference to this small club moving forward. Great work by all involved.

16.01.2022 Today we had to finish off a job where we needed something smaller then what we have in our fleet. I called Tony at Central Equipment Hire and explained our time constraints. He had the machine ready and we were able to pick it up straight away. The little 2t Bobcat Excavator worked a treat. 15.01.2022 We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. Our hard working team will be taking a well deserved break over this period. Our last day of operations will be on Friday 21st December and we will begin again on Monday the 7th January with a small crew, with full time operations kicking in on Monday 14th January. We thank each and every one of our fantastic, loyal and extremely valued clients and look forward to a successful 2019. ... We hope everyone enjoys a safe festive season with their families!

14.01.2022 The newest addition to our fleet is ‘Unit 43’, our 90m3 Hamlex White Truck Axle Walking Floor Trailer. This trailer will be very useful supporting the Rton Mini Loads yard material requirements, along with completing a number of walking floor specific projects for our long time customer base.

13.01.2022 Continuing to prove its value to the fleet, our original 'old faithful' UD is only just receiving its first clutch & slave cylinder replacement... at 1,050,000km's, the original parts off the showroom floor served us pretty well!

We have employees and equipment volunteering with the fire efforts as well as a number of traffic closures/delays that will have to be dealt with when travelling to and from jobs. We will do our best to keep up our service to the best of ability, but we ask our fantastic customer base to please be patient and lenient whilst this ongoing disaster continues. 06.01.2022 LONG WEEKEND CLOSURE... We would like to inform all of our valued customers that we will be closed from Friday 25th January at 4pm until Tuesday 29th January at 7am. 03.01.2022 Goody's Earthmoving is proud to support locals wherever we can. On Good Friday two of our guys, Charlie & Bevan, gave up their time and did some much needed works at the Bouldercombe Pony Club to help towards making the grounds both larger & more importantly safer for the families within the club as well as club visitors. Thanks also goes to Colin Bell from Bells Plant Hire for donating an excavator, Colin is also a wonderful supporter of local events/organisations, without seeking recognition. We thank these three guys for giving so generously to help both save the club a lot of money and also help a small club that is doing great things in a small community. Nothing better then seeing the children outside, interacting with each other & most importantly having fun!
