20.01.2022 Last nights sunset. The sun was shining off the frontal clouds coming through what you don't see is the black snake I parked the quad bike on while taking the picture... .

19.01.2022 Waiting for the stragglers. Our hens put themselves away, but only after they've had their fill of insects which come out at dusk.

13.01.2022 Our eggs come from hens housed in a caravan in a paddock. The caravan is moved weekly to spread fertility through the paddock. The hens are mostly bred here, and are not culled because of age. They get grains and have access to grass and insects through the day. At dusk, they help out by putting themselves away.

02.01.2022 Our hens are laying again. Get yours at the Pokolbin Farm Shop. Proper free range eggs. We let them out of their caravan , a real one, in the paddock of a morning, and they put themselves away at dusk each night.
