07.01.2022 Hi there, PLEASE SHARE Where is Josh, our longest serving Team Member? On 9th of November, Josh was diagnosed with Cancer. Not long after that, a body part was ...removed. Unfortunately the Cancer has spread to his Lungs, Lymph Nodes and Arteries. He hasn’t been able to work since mid-November, and with a young family to support, he is doing it really tough. He has used up all leave entitlements and is relying on Centrelink now. He is in his 2nd round of Chemotherapy and has of course, lost his hair. ------------------- Josh writes I first got diagnosed with Cancer on the 9th of November 2020. The emotions, the turmoil and the unknown had a massive impact on mine and my family’s lives. Telling our children I had cancer was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. On the 20th of November I had surgery to remove the main tumour but it was too late as we discovered I am stage III as it had already spread to my lymph nodes, lungs and artery. Due to the seriousness of the surgery I was unable to return to work and the Dr forced my hand to take leave. I started BEP Chemo this January and am doing 4 rounds of treatment. Not being able to work during treatment and having run out of all leave, the added financial strain is hard to bear. My wife worked in travel and was already reduced to working 1 day a week due to covid-19. She’s had to leave her job to look after me and take me to flinders every day almost every week. The Dr’s are confident I can win this battle and provided all things go well, I hope to be back at work in May 2021. --------------- The QuikFix Team is doing a fundraiser where Brett, Charles, Charlie & Chris will shave their heads. Chris of course being bald already, will shave off his magnificent Goatee. We’re committed to helping Josh get back on his feet and return to being the awesome Team Member he is Taryn from JADS Hairdressers has graciously donated her time and premises for the Shave. Debb and Bryan from Plus Printing are designing T-Shirts as we speak ANZ account is below. 100% of funds raised will go to Josh We don’t mind if people even donate a dollar, because everything will count towards helping Josh We do understand that due to the last year or so of COVID-19 issues, and other factors, that not everyone will be in a position to help, and that is perfectly fine. As a special Bonus, if we reach $5000, Brett has offered to have his hair dyed Bright Pink . We all know Brett looks silly enough every day so the mind boggles at this! Any donations gratefully received - Bank details below Thanks so much! BANK DETAILS ANZ VICTOR HARBOR ITF JOSH ANDRAE BSB: 015716 ACCL 428683404

07.01.2022 The last few months have been testing for footy clubs, individuals and businesses. We made a real effort to generate income without relying on sponsors, but as ...usual they couldn’t help themselves and have come to the party. They have been brilliant. Thanks to all our 2020 sponsors, we appreciate the support. Check out who we have on board and please endeavor to utilise them where possible See more

03.01.2022 We're accelerating the easing of restrictions to support local jobs and help businesses recover. From this Friday, South Australians will be able to dine indoor...s and be served alcohol with their meals. Stage 2 changes will also come in to effect earlier - from Friday June 5. It means pubs across the state will be permitted to open ahead of the long weekend. We've been working with industry to ensure they can get back to business as quickly and safely as possible.

02.01.2022 Monday let’s go!
