25.01.2022 It’s now under 2 weeks until Goomfest 2! Limited tickets still available but approaching a sellout so get in quick if you want in! Antiphon will be bringing the late night groooove and we cannot wait to see what they got

23.01.2022 As many of you will already know, for the last couple of years Chris has been working tirelessly alongside awesome mates to hand build Australia’s VIRUS sound... system. The resurgence of such a rig is no mean feat on limited funds, minimal time and plenty of family commitments. And Chris being Chris, has carefully crafted his bespoke sound system while pledging always to put it to good cause, supporting community. His first gig was a warehouse party to raise funds and awareness for the Arabunna elders to help protect their country from an expansion of the Olympic Dam and to stop mining threats at Lake Eyre. The second gig was a small festival held on a micro farm near Warrnambool. It stops there. After the long journey home Chris dropped into his west side Melbourne residence for a quick bite to eat and a short rest before the final step of putting the rig into its lock up. This was enough time for a lousy thief to steal the majority of the rig by cutting open the ratchet straps and breaking into the cab of his vehicle. The loss is $15 000 and countless hours (actually 2 years of work) and sadly insurance won’t cover it (it’s complicated). We can’t say how guttered we are. So we’re hoping you’ll join us in rebuilding the resurrection and chip in what you can to fund the replacement of the VIRUS rig and bring it back to the people! If 150 people chip in $100 Chris will have his rig back - but we know it’s not going to be that easy, right. Please follow the link to our fundraising page. 18.01.2022 Our hearts go out to all impacted by COVID-19. The music industry has been one of the most impacted in this time, so we see it as more important than ever to make Goomfest 2021 happen. To give everyone the connection and inspiration they need following all this isolation. We are working hard to bring you the social experience of music and art that we have all been missing so far through 2020. Lock in January 16th 2021, we are going to relieve all the tension of 2020 at GOOMFEST 3!
