24.01.2022 Ouch!! This dog accidentally ran onto a stick he was chasing and drove it into the back of his throat! After surgery to repair the wound he went home and made a full recovery (and now only chases tennis balls!)

19.01.2022 This unlucky filly managed to injure her shoulder and hind leg on a tree - she required extensive surgery to repair her wounds and was given a tetanus vaccination as well as anti-inflammatories and antibiotics twice a day. After five days in hospital she was cleared to go home. 17.01.2022 Randlab Equine scoping day - we hosted a gastric scoping day last week where we passed a 3 metre long camera into horses stomachs to look for ulcers, lesions and parasites. We found multiple issues in several horses as well as some wriggling bot larvae attached to the stomach wall! A great reminder to worm your horses regularly.

They are studying living things in science and our veterinarians taught them about caring for chickens, sheep, horses and dogs. 05.01.2022 Another beautiful bird of Goondiwindi today - this Brown Falcon was found injured in a paddock, unable to fly. Our veterinarians administered pain relief, antibiotics and took x-rays of his injured wing. 05.01.2022 An unusual injury presented to the clinic last week - this dog managed to fracture his canine tooth out of his jaw bone and lodge it into his upper lip! 02.01.2022 Chicken surgery - we were presented with Myrtle who was attacked by a fox through a fence and lost part of her wing. She was anaesthetised, her damaged wing amputated, given pain relief and antibiotics.
