25.01.2022 This Afternoon team photos will held at 3:30pm, so all players will need their game day gear on (jersey, socks, shirts, etc). We will do the photos in front of the grand stand. Players are to assemble at their designated peg/marker until called up for their photo’s. Thanks

24.01.2022 Great Message from TAS rugby in support of the club. Andrew, I’m driving the bus to Dirranbandi tomorrow with the women’s Rugby teams, so will not be here to greet you all when your guys arrive tomorrow. ... I’ve arranged for a Gundy lad of ours (and captain of our first XV), Declan Pickard, to ref the U12’s game. He’s looking forward to it. I’ve also tee’d up a sausage sizzle for your lads at the end of the game to say a big thanks from TAS for coming in to play. Our shout and it’ll all be cooked and ready so that parents who want to hit the road can grab and run. I read your letter on Facebook last night and it was a great message of support for your club it is unprecedented times, but hats off to everyone who is helping make a modified season happen. I know that rain is predicted tomorrow and that may create a little angst amongst those who fear that their children may get crook and the follow-on from that. We would also like to support your families in staying fit and well while getting back on the paddock, so I’ve arranged with Mr Basset that if it’s wet or miserable, your players are more than welcome to have a clean-up / warm shower in Bligh House so that they are not traveling home wet. If you can pass the offer to your families, and they are welcome to touch base with Mr Basset after the game and he will make that happen for them. Thanks again for coming to visit and we wish everyone a safe travel our lads are very excited as we love playing Goondiwindi and our association with the region. 13.01.2022 Explanation regarding cancellation Duty of Care to the club regarding the risk of kids and parents travelling to Toowoomba, falling ill with generic cold and flus that may be contracted by playing in the rain and cold and then needing to present for COVID testing and missing school as soon as symptoms appear. The fact we will have left our base to Toowoomba means 14 day quarantine maybe imposed. Not worth the risk to the kids. Medical advice I sort 100% endorsed and encourage...d cancellation.
