17.01.2022 3 MORE SLEEPS! WOOHOO!! PLEASE take the time to read through the following. 1. All parkrunners are required to check in. We will share the QR code during the week. We ask that you scan in when you arrive from your car / before you leave home. It will be available on this page, and on laminated posters at the event. If possible, please check in before walking to our usual run brief area.... 2. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms (such as fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath), or a loss of or change to your sense of smell or taste, please do not attend parkrun. If you’ve been instructed to self-isolate, please do not attend parkrun. 3. All volunteers will be asked to use the provided hand sanitiser on arrival. Runners and walkers are asked to hand sanitise before arriving. 4. Participants, volunteers and spectators are asked to socially distance prior to the event. 5. Participants are asked to seed themselves at the start line to aid in social distancing. Faster runners towards the front, walkers towards the back. Participants are asked to attempt to remain 1 metre apart at the start line as much as possible. During the event, we ask you make use of all available space and minimise the amount of time in close proximity to others. 6. No spitting on the course, and sadly, no high fiving. 7. Timekeeping and barcode scanning will be performed with the parkrun Virtual Volunteer App only. If you are volunteering in these roles, the app can be downloaded from your app store. 8. The finish line participants are to take their token promptly from the volunteer, without making physical contact, and then make your way to a barcode scanner. Please remember to socially distance if there is a queue for scanning. Guidelines recommend one scanner per 50 runners. Should you finish your run, and then wish to help us with scanning remaining runners, please speak with the run director, and if needed, the RD will advise where to position yourself. You will still receive your volunteer credit.
