In order to minimize risks to ourselves and the public we ask that you follow the following guidelines: 1. Please call before attending the hospital and wherever possible only have one member of the family attend with their pet for their visit.... 2. We are spacing our appointments further apart to allow easier social distancing so we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment in order to avoid contact with the next customer. 3. We still accept cash, but where possible request that customers pay by EFTPOS. 4. Please do not attend the hospital if you are unwell particularly if you have Flu-like symptoms 5. We have good supplies for all our regular Pet foods and Flea and worm products. We ask that if you need any over the counter products or repeat prescriptions that you call the clinic to organize a set time to attend in order to maintain social distancing. 13.01.2022 Please make sure your dogs are up to date with their vaccinations- We have been starting to see cases of Parvo in the last couple weeks. Remember all new puppies require 3 vaccinations

12.01.2022 Please ensure your dogs are up to date with their vaccinations. We have recently been seeing an increased number of puppies with Parvovirus. Nearly all cases we see are young dogs whose owners have failed to either vaccinate at all, or haven't completed their course of puppy vaccinations. All puppies need to have their first vaccination at 6-8 weeks of age. The Parvo vaccinations are extremely effective as we virtually never see parvo in properly vaccinated dogs. Parvo is a f...atal disease in dogs that is easily preventable. Whilst we frequently treat dogs with parvo, the costs of treatment is high with most animals needing to stay in the hospital for 5-7 days. If your pup develops symptoms, of lethargy, vomiting and diarrhoea ( Particularly bloody diarrhoea) please call the clinic immediately. Please do not attend the clinic without having discussed the case with us first.
