24.01.2022 The store will be closing early on Monday 5th December 2016. Closing time will be 2.00pm School lunches will not be affected.

20.01.2022 The Diva's are coming!!! Keep Saturday 3rd June at 7.00pm free for this fantastic concert at Goornong Memorial Hall. The wonderful ladies choir, Divine Divas of Sunbury, along with the lovely Cantare Choir will be performing a full length concert. Music will be by internationally acclaimed pianist & Young Australian Performer of the Year, Adam Przewlocki. Tickets will shortly be available from the Goornong General Store

18.01.2022 We still have several of the Mark Knight, Richmond Premiership posters left. Today is the last day they are available. $3.00 each with proceeds going to Royal Children's Hospital.

14.01.2022 People, I want to refurbish the large white sign above the verandah on the shop. I want something plain, that grabs your attention and must be visible from 200 metres away. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

12.01.2022 Had a lovely visit from Chris & Ian Robins, who are doing a 14 month 'Round Australia' walk raising funds for Breast & Prostate cancers. They have been on the road since May 2015, starting at Stanthorpe NSW and have been to Cairns, Darwin, Perth & Adelaide. They are now walking through Victoria & are heading through Bendigo, Castlemaine, Ballarat and on to Melbourne. They still expect to be on the road for at least 5 months. 08.01.2022 Just received a letter from Bendigo Council thanking us for being diligent when selling cigarettes - we picked the 'under age' person who attempted to buy them without ID.
