25.01.2022 #campingtips Make a delicious breakfast Omelette quick and easy with no washing up to do! Crack 2 eggs into a zip lock bag. Mix in some cheese, diced ham, tomato and any other ingredients you may have. Seal and shake then pop into a pan, saucepan,camp oven of boiling water and cook. Then place onto a plate and brekky is served.. no mess!

22.01.2022 As advised by the QLD health minister and local authorities... Any campers travelling from a restricted local government area within the Greater Brisbane Region and arriving at Gootchie creek escape from 9 January 2021 until 6pm 11 January 2021 will not be allowed to camp due to these laws that have been put in place. We do not want to upset any travellers but must also keep our local area safe. We hope you all understand. Nikki and Todd

18.01.2022 THANK YOU EVERYONE! Wow happy campers. We cannot begin to tell you all how grateful we are for an AMAZING grand opening weekend. We had the best time ever!! The 2 days of music, singing and dancing with you all was just fantastic. So many incredible People that we spoke to and we just wanted to say thanks to each and everyone of you for supporting us on this new venture. We can’t wait to see you all back here and have re booked BASSLINE STUDIOS BAND for NEW YEARS EVE!! Safe driving home and here’s a few snaps from the weekend. 09.01.2022 #CAMPING TIP It may sound strange but, banana peels are actually a great treatment for mosquito bites. This is due to the natural oils found within the banana's skin. For this natural remedy, simply rub the banana peel, flesh side down, on your mosquito bite and relax and feel itch fade away into non-existence.

06.01.2022 We get so many inquiries asking about our camp sites throughout the property and along the creek. So we thought over the next week we would show you each of the areas that you can camp and you can see how large each area is. The first is Galloping flats named by our first campers to come with their horses. This area is a great shady area. It’s the furtherest camp on the property and suitable for horses and groups wanting to spread out and maybe be away from other campers. It has 3 small billabongs and the creek running through it.

06.01.2022 Thanks to all the kids for entering the Easter colouring competition! Was such a great day and we had so much fun with the treasure hunt, craft, and games. Here’s some photos of the winners from today and a huge thanks to Rach for the face painting. We hope you all had a Gootchie great day and wake up with treats from the Easter Bunny.

04.01.2022 The next large campsite we want to show you is platypus corner. Campers often see the platypus in the creek when they are camped here. Large grassy flat camping area with creek frontage.

03.01.2022 Cheers and a massive thank you to all our incredible Easter Campers! You guys were amazing once again we meet some amazing people and chatted to so many wonderful kids. Hope you all enjoyed your stay although a little wet, I guess it would not be Easter camping without some rain! We’d love to see your best Easter camping photo so please post in the comments below.
