Thanks Sam Hi All - we are working through the finer details of Auskick return (VIC specific) given the announcement by Dan Andrews yesterday. Auskick will resume in VIC in 2020, but we will have more information sent to our VIC coordinators by the end of the week (once we have clarification on a few things from the Vic Government). 03.01.2022 An updated email I received today in regards to Auskick 2020! Dear NAB AFL Auskick Coordinators, Returning to play in a safe, hygienic, and controlled manner is paramount to the AFL. The safety and wellbeing of our participants and families is our number one priority and has guided our approach to returning to NAB AFL Auskick in our communities.... Each State and Territory Government has been responsible for releasing plans on their three-stage road map in lifting restrictions. It is imperative that as a code, we are mindful of respecting these staged restrictions and returning to play in a controlled and responsible manner. The return of NAB AFL Auskick, will be consistent with the Framework and protocols in place by each State and Territory Government. We are working with each local State/Territory Government and the AFL's State and Territory affiliates to determine when Auskick can return in your local region, as restrictions are eased. We are working closely with Cricket to accommodate an extended season if required, due to the impact of these postponements on the AFL calendar. We appreciate that further work will need to occur at a local level in relation to ground access and ability of your centre to recommence. As such, registrations will currently remain closed until we have a recommencement date applicable to your local region. We remain hopeful of a return to play in 2020, and further information can be found here including a State/Territory specific link on how it relates to your centre. As mentioned above, we will provide further local information as it relates to your State/Territory in the coming weeks. Thank you again for your patience during this unprecedented time.
