18.01.2022 Colour correction - my best friend. Keep swiping to see my face without makeup! My skin has always been problematic - super dry and flakey on the cheeks, oily in the T-zone, I have acne and hyperpigmentation (type of acne scarring that fades over time), dark circles thanks to being so #pale, and texture/congestion! As I’ve previously said, congestion isn’t something you can completely conceal with makeup - but you CAN reduce its appearance by avoiding metallic highlighters th...at make texture more obvious, and applying thinner layers of high-pigment products with a good sponge! I apply my foundation as such (#toofacedbornthiswayfoundation), and colour correct using green for my acne/hyperpigmentation and yellow for my dark purple under eye circles! Green counteracts the red, and yellow counteracts the purple! After you’ve created the perfect base, you can go wild with whatever blushes, contours, lip and eye products you like! I went for the #classicmakeup look of a #wingedliner and #redlip - I contoured my nose too, giving it a slimmer and more petite appearance!
