25.01.2022 CANCELLATION POLICY When you book At Gorgeous lashes by Liz I set that time aside just for you. If you cancel with late notice or dont show up that impacts on me significantly. As you may be aware, I am a small business that likes to give all my clients plenty of time for their appointments. This way I can provide you with a great relaxing experience.... When clients dont show up for their appointments it creates a pretty big gap in my schedule. Not only is that not great for my business but more importantly your missed appointment could have been filled by another client who would of loved to have that time. It is also pretty upsetting for me as I was looking forward to seeing and taking care of you. I will now be charging a $15 booking fee for all new clients and a $10 booking fee for all other clients which is non-refundable for all eyelash extension services. Which will go towards your service. If a cancellation is made with more than 24 hours notice, the fee is forwarded to the new appointment time. If you no show or cancel your appointment in less than 24 hours of your appointment your fee will not be taken off of your next appointment and youll be required to $10 more for your next reschedule. If no booking fee is received at the time of booking, you acknowledge that your appointment slot may be considered open and can be filled by another client at anytime. 21.01.2022 HENNA BROWS How gorgeous is this before and after on one of my beautiful clients!!! Henna and a nice fresh shape and wax What is Henna?... Henna is a dye that is derived from the Henna plant (aka Lawsonia inermis) and is naturally a reddish/brownish colour. Henna is also plant based and is activated with a special water based product so does not need any chemical element like traditional lash and brow tints and is hence 99% natural- nothing is 100% natural anymore so 99% is as good as its going to get! How long does it last? The beauty with Henna is it stains the skin along with the hair so creates a deeper brow colour than your regular tint. Regular tint will stain the skin for up to 2 days and on hair for up to a week or so, whereas Henna will stain the skin and hair from about 2-8 weeks. 15.01.2022 NATURAL LASH HEALTH As lash artists we need to take into consideration the natural lash length we are working with, the thickness and strength before we select what type of extension we are safely going to apply. I had a beautiful client come in the other day and she came to me wanting lash extensions. She told me that she had not had them for over 12 months because the last time she got them done another lash tech damaged her natural lashes. I had a consultation with h...er and I was happy with the recovery of her lashes. With the correct weight and length and taking everything else into consideration I gave her a full set. Lash extensions arent bad for your lashes unless they arent done correctly. Damage to the natural lash can be caused by the incorrect weight, length, isolation and placement. This should never happen! As you can see in the photo below there is new lash growth (the small lash). This is called Anagen which is the growing phase. The lash is obviously still growing and is not strong enough to hold a lash. By the time she comes back in for a refill this lash will be strong enough to put an extension on.
