Take the family for a walk in the picturesque grounds or ride the Scenic Chairlift for a different view of the wonderful surrounds. For dining options, we have the Basin Cafe with an all day breakfast and lunch menu including takeaway choices, or the Gorge Restaurant for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Gorge Kiosk is popular this time of year too for Devonshire teas, a great selection of light snacks, sandwiches, salad wraps, toasted paninis, ice creams and hot and cold beverages just to name a few. 16.01.2022 The Gorge restaurant and kiosk will be closed on Christmas Day 25/12/20 with both outlets resuming trade on Saturday the 26th December- Gorge Restaurant lunch Saturday 26/12 from 12pm and dinner from 5.30pm. 6331 3330 Gorge kiosk Saturday 26/12 from 9am. The Basin Cafe KIOSK, located on the West Launceston side of the Cataract Gorge, will be open on Christmas Day from 10am serving takeaway food and beverages along with a great selection of ice creams.... 09.01.2022 Mona Foma is coming back to the Cataract Gorge first basin on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 15th to the 17th of January. To get among the festivities we will be offering 7 Prime viewing tables from our deck for up to 6 guests per table on the Friday and Saturday evenings. These tables will include a large Grazing platter and drinks wait staff $180 per table.
