13.01.2022 How do we ensure only ripe cherries are picked?! That's easy! See that wristband in the photo?! We give our coffee farmers that wristband to wear, so they can compare the colour of the cherries to the colour of the red part of the band! We care about coffee quality and we care about our coffee farmers, which is why we only want ripe, red cherries picked! This ensures high quality coffee, minimises waste and gets our farmers the best price for their pickings! . . . #coffeethatcares #drinktoconserve #coffeecherry #coffeefarm #cherrypicking

08.01.2022 Happy Thursday! We hope you're enjoying yourselves as much as this baby gorilla is enjoying hanging out in the trees and munching on some roots! Mountain gorillas are herbivores, eating things like roots, shoots, fruit, tree bark and pulp. As gorillas eat and move through the forests, they play a vital role in seed dispersal for the rainforest ecosystem . . . . #weneedgorillas #babygorilla #silverback #animalfunfact

04.01.2022 Our coffee story is your coffee story! Your coffee comes from South-West Uganda, from 3 distinct coffee farming regions: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the Virunga Volcanic Region and Lake Bunyonyi. Without our coffee farmers, there's no us! That's why we work with @noblegorillafoundation and our partners in Uganda to run social and community projects that make sure the coffee farming community is taken care of! This photo was from the first Covid-19 Nutrition Stimulus package -...- providing chickens, goats and vegetable seedlings to coffee farmers during the pandemic. There's currently a second round of this nutrition package we're trying to roll out -- if you'd like to donate, you can check out the Noble Gorilla Foundation Instagram or Facebook page to make a donation straight on the page! #ourcoffeestory #coffeethatcares See more

03.01.2022 Do you know the difference between a single origin and a coffee blend? Single origin coffees can be different to a coffee blend in many different ways! Coffee blends will comprise of a mix of beans from different regions, so it can be hard to tell what farm your coffee is coming from, and which country most of your coffee is actually from. On the other hand, a single origin coffee comes from a single region, giving you (the coffee drinker!) a unique, disti...nct cup of coffee with characteristics from the place of origin. All our coffee is from Uganda, with each flavour we have offering distinct flavour notes, altitude differences, and even a difference in the coffee bean itself! If you need advice on a coffee flavour, leave us a comment or send us a message! You can also check out the flavour notes on our website. P.S. We have a 30% off storewide at the moment! Check out our website to read the different flavour notes to pick the coffee right for you! . . . #singleorigincoffee #coffeefarm #ugandacoffee #specialtycoffee #uganda See more
