01.01.2022 Dear club members, family, friends and followers, I'm sure by now many of you have noticed or heard we haven't been able to field any men's grade teams this season. While it has been devastating for us here at the GRC, we simply did not have enough committed players to roll on with a season. Although we were very close, we just couldn't get the numbers required. However, we now have a very talented group of women playing in the opens competition, and some unbelievable young... women playing in the girls 13s to 17s competitions. So whilst we have lost out in one area, we have managed to grow in others! We are working very very hard to get all our ducks in a row for 2022, and hit the ground running. The appointment of a Mens 1st grade coach for 2022 is one of our priorities, and will be announced as soon as our processes are complete. It has taken awhile to make this statement due to efforts being made to get a 3rd grade side together, but unfortunately that didn't yield any results. We would like to offer a massive thanks to our sponsors for sticking by us! Your support means everything to us. And to those players that are committed to our club, we are sorry we couldn't quite get across the line, but look forward to having you back in 2022. One thing is for sure, the Devils will not just fade away! And we will see you in 2022! If you want to be involved with helping our club re-establish and move forward, please feel free to get in touch!
