25.01.2022 Club Closed For 2 Weeks: Due to the covid outbreak and new restrictions, the club will be closed for the next 2 weeks. The restrictions will be reviewed by Government over those 2 weeks, but it is possible the closures will be extended. This may impact on our end of year celebrations however I will keep you updated. ... Can I just say that the club has been functioning really well with a number of new members over the last few weeks. I hope everyone returns when we can. Please take care and stay safe. 20.01.2022 CLUB REOPENING AS OF TUESDAY 1/12/20 Dear members, as of 1/12/20, community sport can resume. We must maintain the 1 per 4m2 distance and thus revert back to the previous number of people in the area restrictions. Contact tracing records must be maintained for everybody in the hall, therefore personal information must be maintained on the Covid register at the rear entrance door. We must also have a Covid Marshal present at all times and it will be their role to maintain t...he social distancing. I look forward to seeing you back. 20.01.2022 FUNERAL for Dr Yen Yung YAP Please be advised that the funeral for Dr YAP is by invitation only due to Covid restrictions. The family of Dr YAP have sent invitations to those required to attend which unfortunately limits the number of people who can attend and pay their respects. Unless you have received an invitation from the family, please do not attend the funeral home (Peter Elbergs) as admission won’t be permitted. Because of such, the funeral on both Friday night and... Saturday morning will be live streamed for those who want to view the service and pay respects. In non-Covid times, this would have been a big funeral with appreciation to all for attending. However and unfortunately, that can’t be the case on this occasion. The family wishes to thank everybody for their kind words, thoughts and wishes during this sad time.
