11.01.2022 . ’ . 2020 was wild. A gut feeling and serendipity lead to @goslostudio and with it came a bunch of rad people who have helped to shape our community. Starting from scratch is hard. Thank you to all those who helped and believed. The community in Freo is second to none and we’re gonna be in it for a long time.... 05.01.2022 I was talking to my friend @carolinemrobson about being to get through a Reformer program unprompted. Although I have years of experience noodling around on the apparatus, I still find it hard to maintain concentration for a long period of time. The key (I think) is to... not think. Well, not overthink so to speak. I’m an advocate for mindful movement but there are times when you’ve gotta leave the laser-focus and let your body take the lead. Another reason why I like repe...tition, sequences and patterns. You don’t need a Reformer, just a rhythm. See more

03.01.2022 . I’ve never been a good side-splitter. Not for lack of flexibility but for fear of the good old pain, plus a reluctance to practice because of it (includes my time in martial arts). The quest for this guy is strength. The end game is trying to do side splits on the floor. A lot of practice and a lot of time. A doozy if you ask me. ... Remember the journey, not the outcome.
