22.01.2022 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might Ephesians 1:1519 (ESV)

20.01.2022 Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,... Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill. I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. Psalm 2 (ESV)

19.01.2022 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:11-14 (ESV)

16.01.2022 Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray.... O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you. The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers. You destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you. Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me. For there is no truth in their mouth; their inmost self is destruction; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue. Make them bear their guilt, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5 (ESV)

15.01.2022 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6 (ESV)

15.01.2022 Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? Selah... But know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD hears when I call to him. Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Selah Offer right sacrifices, and put your trust in the LORD. There are many who say, Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O LORD! You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4 (ESV)

13.01.2022 Psalm 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;... but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. (ESV)

12.01.2022 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:1-2 (ESV)

05.01.2022 G’day Gospel Church, We wanted give you a heads up about the changes we are making at church during this season of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. We want to be wise, prepared and demonstrate love for each other and our community by taking care not to spread this potentially serious virus. It is potentially deadly to the older and medically vulnerable people at church so here’s the plan. 1. Pray: for God’s help, mercy and protection. Thank him for the society we live in and the... medical system we have access to. 2. Personal precautions: Come to our Sunday gathering in fresh clothes, and wash your hands. Use hand sanitiser as often as you need while we are together. Try to avoid touching your face and think about minimising the common things you touch. 3. If you are sick: (with a sore throat, or runny nose, fever, cough, difficulty breathing etc) please consider staying at home to avoid infecting others. If you are sick and decide to come please wear a respiratory mask the whole time. If you are sick we will ask you to keep 2m distance from others while talking, and we will ask you to sit on a seat that is away from others. 4. Precautions with others: please remember to avoid hand shakes and hugs during this season. When talking it is recommended to leave a 1.5m space (because people can have COVID19 and share it while feeling fine) 5. Service Changes: We value communion, but will change its format it to reduce shared bowls. We will also change tea and coffee to be served by a designated person, rather than everyone helping themselves. I’m happy to field questions personally, by message or on this page. In all of these things we know that God is sovereign, He controls all things, so we don’t need to fear. He numbers every hair on our head and know the precise length He gives us on this earth. When we think about Jesus we can be encouraged by Mark 4:41 that Even the wind and the waves obey. So as we seek to be both prayerful and prepared, we don’t need to fret or feel overwhelmed. We know that God uses these things to make as long for the new heaven and the new earth, to keep short accounts with Him and be quick to repent and seek His mercy. We want to be thoughtful about how we meet and exercise caution, but also don’t want it to be massive distraction in the service. Think about ways that you can go about your life being a good witness and a good neighbour, especially helping those at high risk. We will speak more about how the Gospel relates to this little virus and its impact in the service. But we wanted ask you to join us with these precautions. In the peace of Christ, Tyler

05.01.2022 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. Ephesians 1:7-10 (ESV)

03.01.2022 O LORD, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; many are saying of my soul, There is no salvation for him in God. Selah But you, O LORD, are a shield about me,... my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. Arise, O LORD! Save me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked. Salvation belongs to the LORD; your blessing be on your people! Selah Psalm 3
